Helen Peters is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland. She earned her doctorate from the University of Oxford and has taught English literature at the University of Ottawa and Memorial. She has played a role in the Newfoundland and Labrador performing arts community through service on the Board of Directors for the Resource Centre for the Arts.
