Twenty-four Teddy Bears: A Christmas Journey chronicles twenty-four of Santa's most memorable visits over the past thirty-eight years. These have taken him from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to Senior's Homes, and Santa has left the bears with tiny newborns, people who've passed their 100th birthday, and all kinds of children, adults, Christmas doubters, and Christmas believers in-between. These stories will make you laugh and cry, but most importantly they will make you appreciate the true meaning of the holiday season.

Bruce Templeton is an investment advisor, a Rotarian, a past chair of the St. John's Board of Trade and former regional manager for the Bowring retail chain. For the past thirty-eight years he has made approximately fifty Santa visits a season, often in circumstances where Santa's presence, as Bruce puts it, can make the "not so normal" seem "normal" again, for at least a little while. A strong believer in the healing power of the season, he was inducted into the International Santa Claus Hall of Fame, class of 2014, and is currently Canada's only living member. His previous work includes The Man with the White Beard and the national bestseller, The Man in the Red Suit: A Memoir. He lives in Outer Cove, Newfoundland with his wife Paula.
