Bruce Stagg is a recently retired English and Theatre teacher who was very involved with the high school threatre community. He has written more than twenty plays and has received many directing awards. He has won several writing awards in the Newfoundland Arts and Letters Competition and in 2003 was the recipient of the National Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence.
