Sheilah Roberts Lukins lives in St. Philips, NL, with her husband and several garden mice. She has written two non-fiction books for adults and, most recently, her first children’s book: Full Speed Ahead: Errol’s Bell Island Adventure, winner of the Bruneau Family Children’s/YA Award. Her loves include history, horses, dogs, good food, great stories—and of course the occasional mouse. Laurel Keating is a self-taught and award-winning artist whose illustration work has appeared in several children's books: Yaffle's Journey, Elliot and the Impossible Fish, Moose's Roof, and Full Speed Ahead: Errol’s Bell Island Adventure, to name a few.  A native Newfoundlander and animal lover, she lives in Portugal Cove, which she has called home all her life.
