Celebrating International Children's Book Day, April 2

A date chosen to honour Hans Christian Andersen's birthday, April 2 has been celebrated as International Children's Book Day since 1967. The day is meant to inspire a love of reading and to call attention to children's books.

We're excited about the upcoming release of our latest book for children, Once Upon An Iceberg: Errol’s Twillingate Adventure. Written by Sheilah Lukins and illustrated by Laurel Keating, this is the third book in the series that follows the Newfoundland adventures of Errol the mouse.

Look for it at retailers in May and share the love of reading with a child.

A review of This Is How It Is — just in time for National Poetry Month

Joan Sullivan, editor of Newfoundland Quarterly magazine and reviewer of both fiction and non-fiction for The Telegram shared these thoughts on Sharon King-Campbell's This Is How It Is:

"This is a book about journey, touching on different kinds of travel. Across the globe, through perspective, and into the past.

The words have traction, trekking in various realms, where King-Campbell guides us through how it is." Find Sullivan's full review here.
